Summer

SummerFest, Rawlins Jam and Outlaw Show N' Shine –
Rawlins SummerFest, Rawlins Jam and the Outlaw Show N' Shine have teamed up to bring a great weekend of events to Rawlins the 2nd week of July. Whether you want to ride around beautiful Carbon County, show off your car or truck, visit vendors from around the state, shop sales in local businesses,  enter an ice cream eating contest, or just watch outhouses barrel down the street- you have found the right place! Downtown Moonlight Movies -

During four Friday evening in summer and fall, Downtown Moonlight Movies takes place in Depot Park at the corner of 4th and Front in downtown Rawlins. Each event will also begin this year with a costume contest, to see who can best dress to the theme of the movie. 2011's movie line-up is:

June 24th: Despicable Me

July 8th: Back to the Future, in conjunction with SummerFest

July 29th: Jailhouse Rock

September 23rd: Happy Gilmore, in conjunction with State Golf
