Executive Director:

Pam Thayer has been the Rawlins Main Street director since spring 2006. Rawlins Main Street was accepted as a Nationally Accredited Main Street Program after Pam’s first year as director. Before working for Rawlins Main Street she worked as a consultant with the Carbon Mercantile Board of Directors for the community clothing store in Rawlins, Wyoming. Pam is originally from Lakewood, Colorado. She graduated from the University of Colorado with degrees in business and psychology. Pam’s previous employers have been ESPIRIT Clothing, Bausch & Lamb/Ray-Ban and Banana Republic. Her expertise is in customer service and employee training in multiple fields and sales. She enjoys her work in Rawlins and loves raising her children in her adopted hometown.

Contracted Project Coordinator:

Mira Calton has been the contracted project coordinator since August 2008. She also interned with Laramie Main Street from Sept. 07-May 08 and with Rawlins DDA/Main Street in Summer 07. She has a bachelors degree in psychology and honors from the Univiersity of Wyoming, where she wrote her honors paper on Main Street Design theories as viewed through environmental psychology. Mira is originally from Rawlins and had the opportunity to live abroad while studying for one term at the University of Ghana.
